Blair James is an up and coming Stylist and Costume Designer based in Los Angeles, CA. Unlike most in the fashion industry, her journey did not originally begin in fashion, but with acting and dancing. While attending Hussian College Los Angeles in Downtown LA, Blair found her love for Styling and Costume Designing while producing her friend's low budget musical that couldn't afford to hire a Costume Designer. Being the overachiever and daredevil she is, Blair decided that she was capable of costuming the show. Little did she know, she was. As she won the "Outstanding Costumes Award" from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.

From that moment on, Blair has been worked on a wide range of projects such as burlesque shows, musicals/plays, editorial shoots, headshots, films, sitcoms, and music videos. With only two years under her belt, Blair has created a reputation of range, professionalism, and drive.

 

She is now currently working and assisting with Celebrity Stylists, Tara Swennen and Molly Dickson, along with building & flourishing in her own company, "Fits with Blair".
